Welcome to Austin, Texas Treat Map & Surrounding Areas!. By using this website (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Austin, Texas Treat Map & Surrounding Areas! is a community map where people voluntarily share that their home or event is participating in Halloween trick-or-treating and what they plan to offer. Listings are submitted by individual users and are not verified by us.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
You may delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting your account removes your listings and photos.

3. Your content

You may only add a location you own, live at, or have permission to list. Do not list someone else's address.
You keep ownership of the text and photos you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them on the Service for as long as your listing is active.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights.
Listings that mention adult beverages are intended for adults only. You are responsible for complying with all local laws regarding alcohol.

4. Our rights

We may edit, hide, or remove any listing or account at our discretion, with or without notice, including listings that appear inaccurate, abusive, or in breach of these Terms.

5. Safety disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not verify who is at any address or what they are offering. Visiting any location is at your own risk. Always supervise children, check treats before eating them, and use your own judgement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of the Service or from visiting a listed location.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, overload, attack, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, and not to use it to collect information about other people.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who breaches these Terms.
